作者简介
Professor Zhou Ji, Minister of the Ministry of Education, has a BS degree from Tsinghua University, an MS and a Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA. He was a mechanical engineering professor and researcher for more than 20 years in Xinjiang University, and was selected as a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999. Professor Zhou has been Minister of Education since 2003. Other appointments he has held include president of HUST, director-general of the Science and Technology Department of the Hubei Provincial Government, and mayor of Wuhan City, the capital city of Hubei Province.
