In view of the declined sales of our children—s toys in the international market,Mr.Ma,the Sales Manager,conducted on—the—spot investigation in New York from March 6 to March 12,2012.A survey was conducted by means of questionnaire given to 1,000 families with at least one child aged between 3 and 10 to complete.
Findings
The results of the investigation can be summarized as follows:
1.About 80 percent of the parents indicated that their children liked electronic toys car.
2.More than 50 percent of the parents mentioned that their children liked toys that they can dismantle and reassemble,such as transformers.
3.The biggest concern of all the parents was the safety of the toys,especially the raw material used and the size.
4.About 70 percent of parents would choose toys which were helpful for cluldren's intelligence development,so that their children can learn while playing.
5.Almost all the parents questioned were quite satisfied with our price,but unhappy about the function,security and service.
Conclusions
From the figures presented in the findings it can be concluded that developed countries have diverted their demands of toys to top—grade types such as high—tech electric toys,intellectual & educational toys from traditional medium and low—grade products like plastic toys and stuffed toys.
