四、主语——主语从句
引导主语从句的关系词可分为以下三大类。
（1）关系词that，whether
that在主语从句中没有词意，只起引导主语从句的作用。whether是“是否”的意思。关系词在主语从句中不充当任何句子成分。
（2）关系代词
关系代词有who/whom，which/whose，what，whoever/whomever，whichever/whosever，whatever。关系代词在主语从句中一般充当主语、宾语、定语或表语。
（3）关系副词
关系副词有when，where，how，why，whenever，wherever，however。关系副词在主语从句中充当状语。
例句：
①Whether he goes to Chengdu to attend the meeting hasn't been decided.
②What we have done will determine the fate of our country and our nation.
③Who will be sent abroad to study depends on the candidate's achievement at work.
④Whom we are talking about will not be known by others outside the meeting.
⑤Which book we have to read will shape our approach to such difficult situation.
⑥Whose attitude to the affair was shown in the meeting would show that he could be an honest man.
⑦Why he did not come to clean the classroom was explained to the class.
⑧How the professor is going to complete the experiment will be revealed soon.
⑨Where the accident causing heavy casualties happened is still under investigation.
⑩When they did accomplish the project was on schedule.
五、“It”——形式主语
“It”用作形式主语的形式：
（1）It is+believed/known/supposed/reported/said/announced/suggested/expected/hoped/decided/thought/pointed out/seen/shown/stressed/unknown/demanded/estimated/accepted/admitted/arranged+that从句。
（2）It is amazing/appropriate/better/certain/clear/evident/good/important/likely/unlikely/probable/natural/necessary/plain/possible/true/wrong+that从句。

四、主语——主语从句
引导主语从句的关系词可分为以下三大类。
